REVIEW // Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Palette: Part 3

I can't believe it's the final part of this review at last. Having so many shades to share in each part has made this feel a lot more of a slog than it really was. If you haven't checked out part 1 and part 2 yet go have a peek first. This last part is slightly different than the other two because the majority of these six shades are mixing colours.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Palette Review lipstick swatches

Lets start with the swatches again, we have a black and white, the three primary colours and then a random purple which I guess didn't fit elsewhere. Like the rest of the palette these are super creamy and super strong, they go on matte though I don't think I mentioned in either of the previous posts, they "set" very quickly on the lip so once it's on it's hard to move around.

For this post I have tried out the two most wearable shades from this row, and also mixed a couple of my own shades to try given that's a big part of what this palette is about.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Palette Review red lips lipstick
Primary 3 - Red: You know what you're going to get with a primary red, this is a very classic shade and I think it looks gorgeous on it's own. None of the other reds were quite like this so it's a perfect addition to the palette.

13 - Blackened Berry: This shade does remind me of a couple of others in the palette but it's certainly a little darker and brings out my inner goth, love it.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Palette Review orange lips lipstick
Now for the two shades I mixed myself, first up I decided to introduce an orange as we've not had a lot of that, for this I used a dab of Primary Red and a little Primary Yellow of which I think I could have gone heavier to give a lighter orange. I do like this though, it makes me long for summer.

I also wanted to have a play with the white and see how well it would produce a pastel, again maybe I could have gone heavier with the white I combined with Blackened Berry but I do like this shade, it would be nice to have the time to experiment with a few variations to get it perfect.

Overall I am so incredibly happy with this palette, I think it's firmly my favourite beauty buy so far in 2019 and I'm so excited to get an opportunity to use it on set. The possibilities are quite literally endless when you have so many options in one palette and the ability to mix customs.
