REVIEW // Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Palette: Part 2

Happy day of Pancakes, beauts! How many has everyone eaten?? I'm not going to be able to have any but I'm definitely not above making myself incredibly jealous and have been oogling everyone elses on Instagram.

If you haven't yet checked out part 1 of this series have a peek and see what I thought of the first six lipsticks in the Anastasia Beverly Hills palette. Today I have the middle row to share with you so here we go.

I'm not the biggest fan of the way I've done the swatches in this series but it's the way I did them in part one and I'm just that touch to anal to change it up. These are the six shades in the middle row of the palette, it's interesting that they haven't grouped together similar shades within this palette. I don't know what the reason for that would be other than possibly an aesthetics.

7 - Vibrant Coral: I LOVE this shade, it reminds me of Burnt Orange from the top row but is slightly more pastel, I feel like this is a colour that would be gorgeous on all skin tones.

(I have to apologise for how heavy my foundation is for these photos, my skin has suddenly started to play up so I slapped it on good and proper.)

8 - Warm Sandy Brown: I think there's maybe one too many brown shades for my liking in this palette, I don't dislike this colour though I wouldn't wear it myself. I'm the browns probably lend themselves nicely when mixing your own shades and in fairness none of them are too similar to each other.

9 - Vibrant Orchid Purple: How amazing is this purple, this is a colour I wish I was brave enough to wear and I also love any excuse to get a purple lip on my actresses.

10 - Berry Pink: If you've been keeping up with my posts this year I don't have to reiterate my love for berry tones. This is a nice classic shade that's especially lovely on lighter skin tones, and reminds me of the winter months.

11 - Soft Oak Brown: Yes another brown, but I'd almost call this one a nude. I wasn't too keen when I first swatched it but now I really like it and I think I'm going to wear this one myself.

12 - Vibrant Pink: Pink may not be the best description for this colour, it does look more pink in the palette but on my lips it was more of a cherry, is cherry a shade of pink? Am I over thinking this? Don't answer that. I really like this one too, another classic.

It's worth adding, the formula is consistent throughout this palette, I've had palettes in the past where some shades aren't as pigmented as others or even as long wearing.

As a reminder here is the palette I'm reviewing, I'll be back to share the final six lipsticks soon!
